Nothing ever goes as quickly as one would wish. Nevertheless...

I downloaded the demo copy of RSJ and extracted their CDDRV.INF file. I
figures that this would provide a starting point. Turns out, the newest drives
(which are the easiest to find) aren't on the list. I don't think I need a 56x
write speed, so...

The Plextor PlexWriter PX-W2410A and the Sony CRX168B both look like good bets.
Now, it is down to selecting the source. I can get the PlexWriter from
Amazon.com, Maxcooler.com, or ez4u123. ez4u123 lists their address as 23911
Garnier St., #A, Torrance, CA. Ever heard of them? Anyone ever done business
with them? They have the best price listed ($95.88) but I'm a bit leery of
what I perceive to be a "no-name" company. Amazon is the priciest ($156.95),
but it is a devil I know.

The Sony is available at BABER.com and at I/O Computers. BABER's price is
$188.00 and I/O's price is $75.00.

Somehow, this is beginning to resemble a crap shoot. Oh, well...

Any thoughts/observations will be appreciated.
