Yes, but no definitive conclusion was ever reached. We never did determine whether or not the LVM
partition info might clash with or overwrite any critical disk or MBR area used by SC. I had
asked the developer a few times, but they never bothered to answer. I asked Jan Van Wilk, and he
did not seem to know either. I was for several years an enthusiastic SC user, but gave it up when
ECS went on. (Also, there have been several later versions of SC, since the one I ran.) I don't
miss it all that much.

If this applied to one's particular setup, SC would hardly be worth bothering with, IMO.
