$75 for a refill? What, may I ask, do the *new* ones cost?

I'm paying $31 for my LaserJet II/IID refills.

I agree that ink jet printers aren't cheap to run. Last time I checked
the HP specs, a $30 ink jet cartridge would print 500 pages and a $65
LaserJet toner cartridge would print 4000 pages. So 4000 pages costs
$65 laser and $240 ink jet. You can buy a _new_ laser printer (which
comes with a cartridge) with the savings.

I saw an ad for a new color laser printer last week for less than
$1000. Can't remember the manufacturer. Don't know what the toner
cartridges cost.
