No. In general, none of the commands that would write something to a hard
drive apply to a CD. This includes command like label, copy, format and
so on.
This applies to any CD written in track mode, which is how you are using
CDRecord and RSJ for now. There are other writing methods and file system
swhich allow you to treat the CD as a read/write file system, but these
don't apply when using CDRecord or RSJ.
While it's true that you can rewrite a CD-RW, you will be really be
erasing the entire CD and rewriting the entire CD.
This does not mean you can not label the CD. You can label the ISO with a
mkisofs option, which we will get to eventually.
