I suggest 4OS2 3.04F
<ftp://ftp.openwatcom.org/devel/4os2/4os2304f.zip>
AKA
<ftp://ftp.scitechsoft.com/devel/4os2/4os2304f.zip>

JPSoft stopped developing 4DOS and 4OS2
<http://www.jpsoft.com/download.htm#free>

The Source Code for 4OS2 was uploaded to HOBBES about 15-MAY-2003.
<http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/cgi-bin/h-browse?sh=1&dir=//pub/os2/util/shell>

Doug Lindquist modified the Source and created version 4.0x located at
HOBBES, in the same directory as the Source Code.
========================================================================
Ver 4.0x fixes:
added commands PS and KILL.
repalced floating point with __int64's

fixed DEL /W for wiping files. it now really wipes them.
fixed MOVE /D DIR1 DIR2

fixed HELP and OPTION commands broken in prvious release
========================================================================

Michal Necasek, the Open Watcom lead, released the "SciTech Edition" Ver
3.04e and 3.04f.
This Source Code is available from SciTech's Perforce Server:
<http://perforce.openwatcom.org:4000/@md=d&cd=//depot/public/&c=kJ1@//depot/public/4os2/?ac=83>
========================================================================
3.04e
- Fixed CHCP command crashes
- Changed JPOS2DLL.DLL loading
- Fixed changing the command window icon
- Fixed crashes caused by entering "cd,,"
- Fixed DBCS input problems (by KO Myung-Hun)
- Fixed minor problem with FAT32 filesystems (by KO Myung-Hun)
- Fixed problem with IFFs nested inside GOSUBs

3.04f
- Fixed file position display (percentage) bug when LISTing large files
- Fixed FFIND command, /T option was completely broken

========================================================================

But since the Fixes solve different issues, you might chose the Ver 4.0x
over the Ver 3.04x......

Just FYI!!!
