There used to be a scanner application for OS/2 -- the
name escapes me at the moment -- that was only for the
HP Scanjet line. (There may be an update for it in
the EcomStation download pages. Don't know what that
might say about its present status, if correct.) I
never used HP scanners, so I never investigated it,
and I don't know what its output options might have
been. But this is the only one that comes to mind.
