And please don't tell me that Google is my friend. I
scoped out a mess of hits on GKLAYOUT. All but one of
them dealt with the Windoze version, and none were
particularly edifying. Ditto for the Warpzilla
bugtracker, but it does seem to suggest (to me, at
least) that there are some real bugs associated with
this. In my case, the crashes seem most often related
to using the Searchbox at a site -- particularly when
the item being searched for turns out not to exist
there.
