What I offered was what I believe is a very elegant solution to
downloading files.
I am not knowledgeable about ECSMT. But, if it can somehow work in
conjunction with WGET, then I have to believe that there is nothing to
"setup" in WGET. Anything that uses WGET does just that, and all
setup is done in the associated app including telling it where to find
WGET. In the case of AWGET I just put WGET in the AWGET directory.
You should have to do no more than something similar.
The latest version of WGET I am aware of is;
