I didn't forget to mention this. You should have had no need to go back
and rejigger anything is your backup were truely what used to work. For
tcpip, config.sys, protocol.ini and setup.cmd totally control driver and
lan interface selection.

For eCS, you may need to restore the *.nbk versions too. I'm not sure
which one MPTS uses to build the GUI screens.

That's probably because the TCPIP stack failed to initialize.

All signs of mismatched config.sys, protocol.ini and/or setup.cmd.

Setup.cmd probably has an extra route add default command. That's what
causing at least one of your errors.

FWIW, the errors imply you restored a Warp4 setup to a eCS box. This is
not a good thing to do unless you know what to edit to make it work.
