Try a different DNS. I'm Dynamic DSL Verizon but I use Earthlink's DNS
as per the following commands in my startup.cmd:

C:
cd \MPTN\ETC
echo domain earthlink.net >RESOLV2
echo nameserver 207.217.126.81 >>RESOLV2
echo nameserver 207.217.120.83 >>RESOLV2

(My routine also has error-checking, logging and displaying but the
above code is what matters. Holler back if you want everything.)

(Lurkers may ask why do I do this? Because OS/2 SendMail 2.02 and the
Verizon DNS don't get along -- there's a 60 second delay in the DNS
response when I SendMail using the Verizon DNS. SendMail and Earthlink
play nicely together.)
