I'm sure that's one viable solution, Colin, but I've
never used the built-in system archiving. I DO use
the UniMaint desktop backup, so I'm more interested in
setting this up over there.

I already had most of that covered. I'll compare with
your list though, just in case.
Still interested in targeting those particular files
that posit the desktop scheme (colors, .BMP, frame
borders, etc.) -- not just the objects and object
locations, which are already taken care of. My strong
hunch is that the files in question ain't part of the
scenter stuff.
