Based upon Ray's reply, maybe I need to improve my desktop srchiving,
too. I've saved his note with the sugegsted files to add to the "key
file". However, on the rare occasions I've had to use one of the
archived desktops, plain vanilla OS/2 archiving has worked for me.
(I've never had UniMaint.)
Unless you are fiddling with the colors, the desktop background, and the
like, I don't see why the "key files" wouldn't be enough to preserve the
desktop. Maybe we'll hear something Steven, and I'll learn that I've
just been living on good luck for the last 15+ years!
