I mentioned, LVM is not very forgiving. Dfsee could have fixed this if
you had asked it too.

Very odd. I guess the video driver is having issues or you had a hardware
glitch. This kind of blinking usually means the software thinks it is in
PM graphics mode, but the video system does not not agree.

Did you ever press enter?
You may have a NIC recognition issue.
