Problem is, there ain't any, in OS/2. This is a PNY
Attache 1G, and I have others (just like this one)
that work, whether plugged in under eCS *or* the Dark
Side. It is readable and writeable under W2K, but
yields only a "Sector Not Found" error, when I try to
access it with eCS. I don't recall how it got this
way -- whether I had to reformat it as FAT-16 for some
reason -- but it was new and empty until quite
recently.
DFSEE shows an NT Disk Signature, as well as BM -->
LVM in the drives chart. I tried zapping any possible
LVM info on it, but this made no difference. Do I
need to reformat it ? How | As What ? | With What ?
I'd like it to become universally accessible, just
like all the other flash drives I use.
I note that at least one of my other memory sticks
seems to have acquired an EA DATA .SF file in the
root, along the way, but it has not proven an
impediment to free use of the stick. Since I don't
recall the procedure for removing this file, I've left
it alone. (There is no such file on the PNY stick I'm
asking about here.)
Please excuse if this has been covered here before.
