I think Tony has done a fair amount of this. Peter
has discussed this topic in some threads you should be
able to search for in the SCOUG message archives.
ISTR he felt the sound card (or chip) found in most
computers would be a weak link, quality wise. In that
case, I have a catalog that includes some well
regarded (and *not* inexpensive) Pro soundcards . . .
but I don't think they would be operable for us, only
on the Dark Side.
