I think Harry's suggestion is good, in that it's ASUS,
but it seems to be on the Intel side of the fence.
I'm going AMD the next time around -- probably
something like an X2 4600+ board. There are several
of these to choose from, so I'd like to narrow it
down. Time to do some research.

I'd stay away from the 2nd. or 3rd. tier MBs, in
either case, but that's just personal preference.
I do a new desktop only about every 4 years, so I like
to have something as good as I can get, without the
cost becoming *too* ridiculous.
