I'm a huge fan of LSI Logic SCSI controllers and these days
find no reason whatsoever to spend _MY_ money on overpriced
Adaptec SCSI anything.
To be sure, NCR paid my bills when the SCSI controller division
was NCR Microelectronics, then later Symbios (and now LSI Logic).
So I claim NCR bias.
Nevertheless, a careful and thorough evaluation made me take
the position I hold today. That previous-employer bias is
already 10-15 years old and fading fast. ;-)
I'm voting with my wallet.
YMMV
