The problem with that question is, by the time someone determines that a
MB works, the info doesn't do you much good because it is no longer
available.

Time was I assumed everything worked. Now there are some weird failure
modes out there. Unless it is a real deal that you don't mind eating,
buy local, and be able to return it.

I have had the following experience with single chip AMD 64.

An MSI that needed special memory and video card to even POST.

An ECS 755-A2 that I plugged an existing HDD into, it booted with sound,
but had no mouse or KB.

An ECS NFORCE3-A that works well.

An ASUS K8V-X that works well.

Trivia: My first IDE HDD -120M - still works. I use it like a floppy.
I have lost one IDE HDD out of twenty: 6G IBM.
