To rename and then delete the EA DATA. SF you will need to us "attrib" to get
rid of the system, hidden, and readonly file attributes. Then rename and
delete should work without problems.
I would suggest you use only the command line to work with that drive. Do not
even open a drives object (or close it, if open, before connecting the drive)
while it is plugged in. Strip all EAs from the files and copy them to the
drive, a REXX script could automate all of that.
