I really didn't have the time to go through the normal, more rigorous
process I usualy go through in making a decision like this. I've been
home with a bad cold, but needed to buy some year end things. I had
noticed a month ago that Office Depot is carrying a few ThinkPads, the
first bricks and mortar store I've seen carry them in a few years. I've
really been happy with the quality of my current Thinkpad, and the ability
to have it run well under OS/2. I took a quick look at the specs for the
two lapstops they had in stock, and especially after seeing that the Z60t
had a built-in EVDO card, decided to take the leap.
>And how did you identify the Broadcom chipset?
pci.exe told me, as well as this website -
http://thinkwiki.org/wiki/Category:Z60t.
Assuming I'm feeling better, I hope to bring the machine into the live
Help Desk this weekend, so if you want to check it out....
