Subject: SCOUG-Help: Lenovo Thinkpad sale!

Content Type: text/plain

I saw an ad in (I think) Monday's LA Times about big discounts on
Thinkpads until March 20. I found the same offers at Lenovo.com.

I was looking at which notebook would work well with OS/2, and it looks
like the T43p is preferred, for audio, Broadcom gigabit NIC, and ATI
Radeon/FireGL support. (I wonder if a T43 could be made to work?)

The three machines they show are
Thinkpad T43 2686DGU reg. $1799, now $1399 Intel PRO/wireless 2200BG
Thinkpad T43 266872U reg. $2409, now $1599 Intel PRO/wireless 2915ABG
Thinkpad T43p 2668G2U reg. $3249, now $1999 Intel PRO/wireless 2915ABG

I know the 2200BG works for OS/2; does anyone kmow about this other
Intel wireless NIC?

What are your impressions of these machines / offers?
Colin
