I did some further testing. My LSI Symbios SCSI card does not work under
windows either. The Tekram DC-315 card does work under windows.
I found two versions of the OS/2 driver: TRM3X5.ADD.
When I add one version, the OS boots and ignores the BASEDEV statement
completely.
When I add the other version, the OS boots and reaches the point where it
says:
Loading TRM3X5.ADD, and then it just sits there. No disk activity.
Nothing. I have to go back and rem out that statement in order to boot. I
also found a file called TRM3X5.DDP, and I added that to the OS2/Boot
subdirectory, but it didn't make any difference.
I believe I have the right driver. Any suggestions as to how I might make
it work?
Thanks,
Sandy
