In that case, we do the same thing but change the names

[j:\tmp]nslookup -type=ns PACBELL.NET
Server: rns2.earthlink.net
Address: 207.217.77.82

Non-authoritative answer:
PACBELL.NET nameserver = ns2.pbi.NET
PACBELL.NET nameserver = ns1.pbi.NET

Authoritative answers can be found from:
ns1.pbi.NET internet address = 206.13.28.11
ns2.pbi.NET internet address = 206.13.29.11

These are your preferred nameservers.

>Does that help? Is there maybe a problem with my router?

You probably want to look at what you have set up in the router. I'm sure
it has a web interface that will show you if you have the DHCP server
enabled. If it is enabled, it should show that it is using the above name
servers.

I guess it's time to do the drill. Please post copies whatever you have
from the following

\config.sys
\startup.cmd
\ibmcom\lantran.log
\ibmcom\protocol.ini
\mptn\etc\dhcpcd.cfg
\mptn\etc\resolv
\mptn\etc\resolv2
\mptn\bin\setup.cmd
\mptn\etc\inetcfg.ini

Regards,

Steven
