No, not really. For the most part once a month backups are sufficient for me.

The exception to that is when I working on something that makes my system trap. I have
a motherboard cache memory problem and so occasionally, something will cause my
system to trap. An example of that situation is, when I'm constructing a REXX script or
program. In those instances I create daily backups so that I do not lose much if a trap
occurs. For me, nothing is worse that to a have a script file open, because I'm working
on and testing out the script, and then the system traps. At that point I usually lose
everything in the open script file.

In a similar fashion you have to decide what is best for you in terms of a backup
strategy. For some people quarterly backups are sufficient (they rarely change their
system or data). Other people backup the operating system once, or perhaps
occasionally, but backup their data often, such as daily. The operating system rarely
changes, but the data does.
