Yes, I do that also. I have a small partition, E:\, for the eCS operating system. This
includes almost all of the files and directories that come with the eCS installation. Then, I
use another, larger partition, C:\, to install various programs, such as Mesa2 and
Acrobat. As mentioned above, I believe I get better protection against reinstallation.
