No spray is gonna help loose pins . . . but, if you're
talking about metal to metal contact, this is nothing
new. At least as far back as the 80's, all kinds of
dubious nostrums were sold -- at exorbitant prices --
to high-end audio devotees, who sought to wring the
last ounce of performance out of their fancy systems.
I'm quite sure I recall one or two products like this.
Improvements for conductance, capacitance ? Like a
lot of other tech subjects, that stuff is way out of
my league. The people selling these products were
often either snake-oil peddlers or just plain nuts.
But that's not to say that contact cleaners might not
perform some useful purpose at times.
