Subject: SCOUG-Help: Trouble installing eCS20Beta3...?

Content Type: text/plain

I wanted a clean reinstallation of eCS20Beta3 which I had running on my
first (and only) SATA drive. I have various flavors of eCS including
beta 3 running on an IDE drive. I started the installation from the CD
and got part way through phase 1 until I got the following error message:

The first phase of installation aborted
with error code: 0X1

This happened while the following was on screen: "SEINST failed."

Does anyone know what this error means and why I didn't get it on a
prior installation to this volume?
