Actually, my new vehicle, a GM model, came with XM. What makes it
expensive is that I'm already a Sirius subscriber. Thonk!
Anyway, it came built in and I suppose you could say it is
expensive compared to the lowest end radio. I wanted the controls
on the steering wheel. I didn't want XM nor the built in phone.
Couldn't have one w/o the other two.
Same with the seats. I wanted electric adjustable & lumbar on the
passenger side. That forced me into the next upgrade to leather.
Is it a conspiracy from the auto dealers and/or Manufs? Sorta like
wanting a motherboard w/o all the built in junk that won't work w/o
my favorite OS.
Opps, I think I hear the topic police, gotta go.
