I found an the following IBM AIX Cobol reference;
It shows the default for the 5th parameter as 3600.
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/comphelp/v7v91/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.aix.cbl.doc/rpclr27.htm
There's also this at Warpspeed in Oz:
http://www.warpspeed.com.au/cgi-bin/inf2html.cmd?..%5Chtml%5Cbook%5CIBMVACPP%5CCPPPROG.INF+37
I didn't understand is the -1 (negative, default) value for
the 9th parameter, given the 10 (Oct) as the (default) 8th parameter.
until I learned that you use negative numbers to count backwards
from the last week of the month.
Every day's a learning experience....
