Well that's good to know, and I guess it will be a
tough choice, because I have a considerable investment
in SCSI at this point, including some never used
drives. And my scanner is SCSI, so I'd have to have
some kind of SCSI card anyway. I had settled on the
10K's some years back, and really liked their
performance. (The 15,000 rpm type were too costly to
be practical, and noisy as well.) So the only SATAs I
would probably consider are the 10K WD Raptors . . .
which aren't particularly cheap either.
