Too many words and it sounds stuffy.

I have pestered Jan enough with this over the last year or so.

The only BM I have used for at least a year is whatever comes with the
latest eCS or DFSee.

DOS, Win and OS/2 all come with boot utilities. I have never made
serious use of any of them. They are all "self centered"; they will
boot "their" OS OK but maybe not others. I used System Commander until
it had problems with OS/2, and since then I have used Acronis 5. I also
have Acronis 8, 9 and 10. I am always looking for a better one. And yes
Air Boot exists where it cannot be seen and is probably more difficult
to fix. Even the floppy that is used to install it appears blank.

In eCS, OS\2 has become even more self centered. M$ is accused of
tweaking things so that competitors cannot interface. eCS is more
exclusive than M$ but without the market share. First by not allowing
it to be run on a common FS, such as it's only native FS; FAT16, on
which the current W4 works fine. Then with LVM and now JFS. All these
things about eCS might be great if someone only ran eCS. But many of us
do not have that luxury. My wife is right now creating a document to be
attached to an email to a professional origination. I told her to boot
Win and use Word because that is the only way I can guarantee they will
receive what she wants them to. I have apps that need three different
OSs. I really don't want them on three different HDDs, even if they are
plugin.
