Now that you have done some reading, you might want to re-read my message
on how authentication is handled by the different LAN networking setups.
I suspect you are mixing up your terminology. A domain name server (DNS)
handles name resolution in a TCP/IP network. See
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_name_system
You are probably thinking of a Domain Controller
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_controller
This handles authentication on a LAN.
By definition, since you running Peer you will not have a Domain
Controller.
