This is hardly true. Ask anyone that's building systems that they must
warranty and support.
It's possible that PCP&C is doing so well that this was a attractive way
for them to increase their market penetration.
What I find humourous about your complaint is that PC Power and Cooling
was acquired by OCZ, which was Scott Garfinkle's preferred RAM supplier.
Also, if you look at

it appears that OCZ acquired PCP&C for what it could bring to the table.
At least, that's how I read it.

I don't know about that. I suspect we will all be paying a lot more for
