Yes, the BIOS gave all the same options for B as it did for A, and I was
able to select 1.44 for B. In fact, I tried a few other settings just to
see what would happen. Tech Support said it will not support drive B. I,
as you, am surprised that the BIOS is not set up correctly to support
what is on the MB. Have you seen BIOSs that display settings for just
one floppy?

I know that floppies are pases' in the Windows world where the end user
rarely if ever opens the computer's case. Hackers like us find old
technology useful at times.

Why would an engineer create a floppy driver chip that supports only one
drive? The technology for 2 is old and requires very little additional,
probably just code.
