Hi,

>What is the procedure, when you need to install a different video card
>(that is also supported by SNAP),

Turn off computer; install new card and turn on computer.

If the new video card can't handle the resolution supported by the old
card, you should lower the resolution before uninstalling the old card.

Thanks, Steven.

So, if the new card handles the old res. (which is gonna
be either 1028 x 764 or 1280 x 1024 (the next one up
from that), I need do nothing ?
If the old card has to be uninstalled, this is where it
goes to plain VGA ? And then how does one find their
way to the new card install, it being much harder to find
*anything* with the basic VGA display onscreen ?

Have you not sampled Panorama VESA, by way of
comparison ?

>or xfer a boot HDD to a different
>computer that has different video ?

Turn off old computer; turn off different computer; move HD to new
computer and turn on new computer.

This assumes that the volume lettering is compatbile wrt the other HDs
installed in the different computer.

Hopefully it would be. At the moment, I don't think there will
be two HDDs in any system but the full tower, which is not
involved in the more near-term situation, and would be
addressed a good deal later on.
