OK. I have now downloaded the build environment and unziped it.

In the GCC335.cmd file (I changed all of the "u:" to "f:") there are settings
for the location for Python, VACPP365, GLIBIDL335, and AUTOCONF. Since I have
none of these applications do I need to download any of them?

There is a set statement for the location of EMX (defaulting to f:\EMX which is
not on my system), there is a directory c:\EMX (eCS 1.2). Does this directory
have what is needed or do I need to download EMX?

The readme.os2 says to run "ash ./configure" (I assume in the directory where
the flipit code is located). Most of the output looks OK except for the
following errors.
type: No such file or directory
type: No such file or directory
type: No such file or directory
type: No such file or directory
function: No such file or directory
builtin: No such file or directory

I run "make" and get the following errors
flipit.c:89:18: pasting "SYSCONFDIR" and ""/flipit.conf"" does not give a valid
preprocessing token
flipit.c:89:31: pasting "SYSCONFDIR" and ""/flipit.conf"" does not give a valid
preprocessing token
flipit.c:159:25: pasting "SYSCONFDIR" and ""/flipit.conf"" does not give a
valid preprocessing token

I do not have a clue on how to create a valid preprocessing token (flipit.conf
is read only and is part of the flipit download). I assume the 89:18 is the
line number and character number of the text causing the error in flipit.c.
