No safer because I've had a few EMX apps that barf on backslashes .
Actually I barf on them too, but they're a necessary evil thanks to Billy
G.

I took a peek. I think that's the latest port. A guy named Ilya is doing
them. I happened to run across this in comp.os.os2.? today.

Well it's not a problem for the 250,000 that contributed code. The rest
are on their own.
