Yeah, it's been slow. However, I've been in contact with the authors of a
few more candidates (DumpIt, Newsharvest, ZtBold). I've been involved in
the betas for all these, so the authors know my name. All have expressed
some interest, but none have committed to going forward. I can't say when
or if something will happen with any of them.

True, but it's more than just a "make work" project and it will let us
iron out the bugs in our methods.

I have started to work with the Odin source. I'm at the point where I
understand the Netlabs CVS setup and I've got a current image ready to
build on my development box.
I'll get do a build here in the next couple of days.
My plan is to get RP7 working on my box. At the moment, it works for
some, but not for me. In the long term, I don't know how much I will be
able to contribute. We shall see.
