Some people like everything compartmentalized -- "management friendly"
or "that post belonged on the other list".

Other people like everything in one place so you don't have to bounce
all over the place to see what's going on -- "user friendly". (The
POSSI list is an example.)

If you only subscribe to some of the lists then you don't "Read All".

If you subscribe to all of the lists then I prefer to have everything in
the one place that I'm looking ("user friendly").

Sundial compartmentalized its discussion lists by separating its
products. Personally, I think that's a bad idea for them because they
aren't exposing their customers to their *other* products, only to the
ones which the customers have purchased (and subscribed to). They
should have put everything on one list. (I subscribe to all the lists
and filter them into one folder for easier reading, but then I also own
all their products.)
