On the web, content is king. Far more important than glitzy
graphics, content makes people come back again and again.
Let's see how this month's chosen web sites measure up:

We gave this guy a good quack in June '98, but he's got a new url and the free software and source code make it a good site. |

Welcome (http://members.tripod.com/~Goran_Ivankovic/).
Goran Ivankovic's free OS/2 utilities. |
This month's Duck Feather
So your computer clock won't run on time? The Duck was ecstatic
when he learned of OS2_NTPD (go to
http://ftpsearch.lycos.com/ and
search on "os2ntp12"). It's an OS/2 utility that runs
quietly in the background, watches the online "time servers" whenever
you're signed on, and slowly adjusts that blasted clock so it never
waddles astray.
No sudden time jumps or reverse ticks, just smooth clocking (see the README for
the rather advanced methodology). And OS2_NTPD memorizes the required
correction and keeps on tickin' even when you're off the
'net.
