Get Help NOW!

December 10, 1998 - Continuing SCOUG's role on the Internet, the Help Desk has gone online. Historically, SCOUG held an OS/2 Help Desk once a month. Members were encouraged to bring their computers and their problems; SCOUG gurus were available to help solve those problems.

Now, you don't have to wait for the fourth Monday of the month. You can get help whenever you need it, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The same gurus are available and will respond to your request as soon as possible.

There are two ways to take advantage of the SCOUG Online Help Desk.

  • Subscribe to the SCOUG-HELP mailing list. If you are familiar (or would like to learn) about mailing lists, this is the best choice. Send a message to steward@scoug.com and put the words subscribe scoug-help into the body.
  • If you don't want to subscribe to the list, you can still send a request for help with our online form for requesting help.
