He said that his Voodoo video driver did not load. That being true, what
would he have gotten on the monitor after the system booted up??
If he is going to reinstall, I believe he should install in VGA, not
SVGA. That way, he will have an ugly, but working video. Then, right
after the reinstall, he can install the SciTech driver to get his system
to SVGA.
To do that, he will have to get the SciTech driver, first, and read and
understand the documentation

OS/2 comes with a desktop GUI. If your video is working and the install
went OK, you should see the desktop, probably dark blue, and several
already built folders on it.
