You can do that with FTP, no need for HTTP. OS/2 comes with an FTP
server; I've only played with it a little and can't tell you how robust
the security is.
Most of the files are available on the web, yes? Just email Steve a
zipped skeleton of the SCOUG CD (without any of the downloadable files)
plus a wget script that will download the files and put them into the
proper directories. To put the file "DuckBlaster.zip" into the
subdirectory KentuckyFriedDuck, your script would contain:
cd \
if not exist KentuckyFriedDuck md KentuckyFriedDuck
cd KentuckyFriedDuck
wget -c http://www.scoug.com/public/DuckBlaster.zip
