I had a number of outages & flaky service about a month ago. I called TW
cable here in San Diego. They ran some tests online to my modem and
said that the signal was low. They then sent a guy out who measured the
signal with a test box, low. We ended up re-configuring the cable where
it comes into my garage. I have 5 drops in the house, and all were
running off one splitter. We ended up with two splitters, a 2-way with
one leg to the modem and the other to a second splitter for the TVs. All
works great now.
