OK -- I will bite that bullet and try using DFSEE.
I did have trouble with LVM. I needed to assign a drive letter to the eCS
volume and then add it to boot manager. Everytime I exited LVM, the
changes would disappear. I also kept getting an error message that
something was corrupted on Disk 1 (even though PM said it was fine.)
Finally I used DFSEE to set up the volume letter and add it to the BM
menu, and it worked fine.
